Washington, N.J., July 21, 2020 – Don’t miss The 2nd Annual Arc of Warren County Food Truck Fest at Donaldson Farms in Hackettstown, New Jersey this summer. The outdoor fundraiser is to be held from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 8, 2020. It includes more than a dozen gourmet food trucks, craft beer and hard seltzer, live bands, a DJ, and farm-fun safe activities throughout the day. The event will benefit The Arc of Warren County.

Sponsors include The House of the Good Shepherd (“Czig Meister” Biergarten Sponsorship), John Johnson Auto Group (Music Sponsor), Mutual of America (Kid’s Zone Sponsor) and Nisivoccia LLP (Pony Petting Area Sponsor). The following organizations will serve as Friendship Sponsors: Hunterdon Healthcare, Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, Inc., Panther Valley Pharmacy and Valley Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Lawn Sprinklers, LLC. Sponsorships are still being sought for additional sponsorship levels.

Donaldson Farms and Mega-Bite Events have collaborated for the second year to host this premiere food truck festival which will feature delicacies from more than a dozen specialty food trucks including Empanada Guy, Jersey Curbside Eats, Amanda’s Bananas and more!  Live music will be performed by The Emulators 80’s Band and singer/songwriter blues artist, Katie Henry.  Attendees can pet ponies, participate in boardwalk style games in a new Kid’s Zone area and try their hand at Hatchet Tossing. Craft beer and hard seltzer will be available for purchase from Czig Meister Brewing Company. The Arc of Warren County’s gift shop, Serendipity, will be selling candles, soaps and jewelry.

Attendees are asked to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Chairs with umbrellas are allowed, but no freestanding beach umbrellas or pop up tents are permitted for safety reasons.  Guests will be required to wear masks while walking and waiting in line to order and pick up food.  Once seated in their socially-distanced area masks may be removed for eating and drinking as outlined in Governor Murphy’s Covid-19 guidelines. Some food trucks will offer text-to-order options to reduce food lines.

“I am so pleased that we can work with Donaldson Farms again this year and hold The 2nd Annual Arc of Warren County Food Truck Fest,” says John Whitehead, CEO of The Arc of Warren County.  “I hope it will provide families with the experience of a relaxing, safe and enjoyable day. It also provides the Agency with an opportunity to raise awareness about the organization.”
