The Arc, Warren County Chapter was founded in 1954 by parents, educators, and other interested individuals who recognized the need for a comprehensive program of service for their children who had mental retardation.
The Arc today serves more than 1,000 people annually, including persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their family members. County-wide programs include residential, family support, advocacy, recreation and Special Olympics training, early intervention, case management, and a wide variety of social services. The Arc in Warren County is part of a state and national network of Arc providers who provide quality service and support to more than 3 million people throughout the United States each year |
