Summer Camp Program
The people we serve:
Camp Warren Summer Camp is appropriate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as:
Autism spectrum disorders
Down syndrome
Prader-Willi syndrome
Cerebral Palsy
Other developmental and physical disabilities
Who are the people who bring quality to our programming?
Camp staff include very caring, patient, and experienced individuals focused on providing a safe, fun, and educational experience for all campers. A special education teacher, with years of experience in camp and school settings, plans and conducts the seasonal program. Our counselors have backgrounds in Special Education or related fields, including physical, recreation, speech, and occupational therapy. All counselors receive an intensive training on how to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, prior to our summer camp program.

How our summer camp program operates:
Our day-camp week runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for six weeks during the summer. Two weeks of residential camping are offered during our summer camp season. Our qualified and caring counselors provide a 3 to 1 supervision ratio. Transportation is free of charge within Warren County for our day campers.
